My legal career has focused on resolving disputes by devising innovative cost effective solutions. As a litigator I have striven to have my clients’ suits decided on their true merits rather than being bogged down in costly interlocutory proceedings. As a construction lien master in the references I tried I followed the same path to bring the parties’ claims to a just and cost effective conclusion by applying proportionality firstly, in the pre-trial for direction stage and secondly, when fixing the method of trial. Now I am applying the same innovative approach in my practice as a mediator, arbitrator, referee and neutral.
